A rural tourism route from Yangquan has been featured among the 12 distinguished rural tourism routes recently announced by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Shanxi Province.

The route offers a captivating journey through the city's picturesque countryside, featuring stops at Northern China Yifeng Ecological Park, Wangtanzui village, Shengyuan Posthouse, Dachang ancient village, and Dachang hot springs.

The route emphasizes the innovative "homestay+" concept, integrating multiple industries to showcase the city's natural beauty and cultural richness through rural accommodations, landscapes, cuisine, and customs.

Yifeng Ecological Park is a prime example of how to blend agriculture with tourism. The park is rich in planting and breeding resources and features various unique attractions, including an agricultural science education camp, an animal science education base, and a fishing center.
