A delegation of 19 enterprises from Shanxi province is showcasing innovations in digital economy, synthetic biology, and modern pharmaceuticals, and reflecting the province's innovation-driven and green transformation at the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) which is taking place from Sept 8 to 11 in Xiamen.

This year's CIFIT has attracted delegations from over 120 countries and regions, along with 11 international organizations, all gathering to explore global investment opportunities and collaborate on future global development. 

Focusing on three sections: "Invest in China", "China Investment" and "International Investment", CIFIT offers 120,000 square meters of exhibition space, hosting over 70 investment-themed events and more than 100 specialized roadshows. The event also features the "Belt and Road" International Investment Cooperation Forum and the China-Azerbaijan Bilateral Investment Promotion Event, providing a vital platform for mutual cooperation.

Shanxi's exhibition area covers about 160 square meters, highlighting the province's latest achievements in economic transformation, the integration of industrial restructuring with technological innovation, and new successes in attracting investment. The exhibition space combines rich visual and video content with a specially designed discussion area, seamlessly combining displays with negotiations.

During CIFIT, Shanxi will also host an exchange meeting, the Shanxi-Taiwan (Xiamen) Industrial Cooperation Exchange Event, and the Shanxi (Xiamen) Investment Project Financing Matchmaking Meeting. These events aim to further promote investment cooperation in fields like smart manufacturing, driving high-quality industrial development in the province.
