Shanxi province is hosting the 2025 Organic Dry Farming Shanxi Products and Shanxi Brands China Tour (Special Agricultural Session) during the SIAL International Food Exhibition 2025 (Shenzhen), which is taking place from Sept 1 to 3 in Shenzhen, with 39 Shanxi enterprises showcasing premium agricultural products and regional specialty brands.

This year's international food exhibition features over 1,100 exhibitors from 50 countries and regions, presenting more than 100,000 products across 14 themed zones, including imported foods, snacks, and health foods.

The Shanxi Pavilion, spanning 210 square meters, highlights six major categories: grains, herbs, meat, brewing, and vegetables. From organic millet and aged vinegar to quinoa products and chili sauce, each product exudes the rich flavors of Shanxi, attracting a bustling crowd of domestic and international business people eager to explore potential collaborations.

The booth of Taiyuan Ninghuafu Yiyuanqing Vinegar Co is proving particularly popular. "Ninghuafu's traditional aged vinegar brewing technique is a hallmark of Shanxi's vinegar craftsmanship and has been recognized as a provincial intangible cultural heritage item," said Hao Jianguo, chairman of Yiyuanqing Vinegar. "Since the exhibition opened, five distributors from Shanghai and Fujian have expressed interest in partnerships, helping expand our domestic market presence."

"Shanxi's specialty agricultural products garnered widespread attention on the first day of the exhibition. This not only enhances the brand awareness of 'Shanxi Products' but also lays a solid foundation for future market expansion and sales channel development," said an official from the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The council plans to organize further participation in domestic and international exhibitions to continue promoting Shanxi products globally.
