A Chinese slackline athlete set a new Asian record for walking on a slackline high above the Yellow River in North China's Shanxi province on Sunday.

Shi Hailin, the athlete, walked barefoot for 569 meters on the slackline 186 meters above the water surface in Yuncheng city, beating his previous record.
